Viber X3™
Basic Condition-based Maintenance
The Viber X3™ is designed for use after general maintenance or repair work, giving tradesman the ability to verify the results of their work. The instrument takes overall vibration reading, bearing condition (including the use of headphones) and temperature. It is an excellent tool for basic condition monitoring measurements, and it is very simple to use at an unbeatable price!

Viber X3™ Measurements
Overall Vibration - This measurement takes the overall vibration of the machine.
Bearing Condition (with headphones) - This value is the RMS average in "g" of all high frequencies within the selected frequency range. Try listening (with headphones) to the bearing while greasing it. The sound will tell you when the grease hits the bearing and the ‘g’ readings will confirm the results.
Temperature - This function is used to measure the temperature of the machine or bearing.
Analysis - This function is similar to the Total Value but with an additional analysis of the 5 dominating frequencies in the signal. This function is especially useful to find the cause of vibration and at balancing. You can also select both unit and frequency range.
