To make sure you fully understand the fundamentals of vibration, there are a number of simulations that have been created for you to control the vibration.

In this example, you can turn the control switch to have the fan slow down and speed up, and the other switch controls the size of out-of-balance weight and thus the vibration level.

By being able to control the speed and weight you get a better understanding of the effect they have on the vibration.

From the basic fundamentals of vibration right though to the complex vibration analysis challenges, you are led step by step along the way. But it’s at your pace. Just remember the goal is to learn not rush though it. If you are not sure of something go back a few slides and review it again.
