Many maintenance instrumentation manufacturers as well as maintenance consultant companies promote the use of maintenance strategy programs such as Reliability-Centred Maintenance or Total Productive Maintenance. However, this is a big step for some companies. We like to suggest a condition monitoring program. For this we offer a one day introductory course to taking simple measurements of machinery on how to best monitor it’s condition.

Some of the points covered are:

• Overall vibration reading
• Ultrasonic reading
• Bearing reading
• Using a strobe to troubleshoot
• Vibration analysis overview.

Many times vibration instruments have been bought but unfortunately not fully utilized. Quite often the reason for this is that the learning curve for such instruments is quite high and it’s hard to keep sending your staff away for training. For this we offer a compact disc (CD) interactive training program. You can either use it with our instructor or as a self paced training program. It is fully narrated and any of the lessons can be reviewed as often as you like.
