Geometry Measurement

If you have any involvement in the measurement of flatness, straightness, squareness, parallelism, level or plumb you need a geometrical measurement system. Why, because not only will you want to take advantage of the speed and accuracy of laser technology, you will also more importantly want to record all measurement documentation electronically.

By far the biggest source of error in other measurement systems is the transfer of measurement data that is read on a scale and then calculated before being reported. With the right laser system and software program this is all done electronically. You can even change the reference points after the measurements have been taken. This allows you to optimize any corrections that are necessary.

With an electronic digital read out measurement can be repeated or reproduced by a different operator to a tolerance that everyone can see and understand. The data can be stored both digitally and graphically or printed out on a printer at the job site before being transferred to a PC (computer)

This is a great advantage. You are creating an installation and measurement verification history of your, or your customers, equipment. And that should be the starting point of all equipment records. For this important process we offer the Easy-Laser Geometry System

These versatile modular designed systems solve all types of measurements quickly and accurately. The systems are simple to use, since the measuring programs guide the user through the measuring procedure step by step.

The brains behind this system is the display unit, the D172. It has 20 alignment and measuring programs. Including the new spin laser technology.

The D-22 laser transmitter is the standard laser source. This self powered laser with swivelling head projects a beam at 130 feet in a 360 deg. radius. It can be leveled to 4-arc sec. and fine tuned better than 2-arc seconds in both the horizontal and vertical plane. The beam can also be projected 90 deg. from the sweep.

Add the D-5, 2-axis, detector with an 18mm x 18mm linearized sensor area, built in electronic inclinometers, temperature sensors and spirit level vials and the system can "see" live time vertical and horizontal movement. All you need now is the appropriate mounting brackets and a cable and you have a geometrical measurement system.

We also offer these as complete systems so please click on a system that interests you.
